LionVoice traveled to Tamanend Middle School for their a cappella competition. LionVoice had an exciting night walking away with an amazing overall score or 9/6 out of 10 and many additional awards. Awards included Best Musicality; Outstanding Performance for singing trio of Lusiya Hyatt, Gianna Prestileo, and Appollonia Marcus; Best Beatboxer Phineas Polinsky; Best Bass Singers Jaidan Shah and Harry Fisher. Congrats to Mr. Weisblatt and LionVoice on an outstanding performance!
Students in Chorus and LionVoice had a guest conductor and workshop presenter, Ben Bam, a Grammy and Emmy award-winning music arranger who is the co-creator of Pentatonix and worked on films/shows like Pitch Perfect and Glee. He has also worked with artists such as Sabrina Carpenter, the Backstreet Boys, and Tori Kelly, just to name a few. This was an exciting opportunity for our students as they prepare for their spring concert!
